Sage UI Responsiveness

I just reloaded my Sage machine this past week and I'm having some major issues with how responsive the user interface is now... It seems like whenever I look through my Sage recordings I have problems. I can navigate down the list a few rows or so, then suddenly I'll get the spinning Sage logo. Sometimes it is only there for a few seconds, other times it is there for 20-30 seconds or so before it lets me go on. Even then, sometimes it will return within the next few "arrow-down" actions... The machine basically pauses after each and every show stops playing, giving the spinning logo for 30 seconds or longer. While the show is playing, it works great - I can fast forward, rewind, pause, etc. just fine, until I hit the STOP button, at which time I'm usually greeted with the spinning logo. Even starting to play shows sometimes gives me a spinning logo. As I type this up, the processor utilization on the server is practically nothing. A simple couple of up-arrows on my remote and the logo spins for 20-30 seconds with no real change in processor utilization... The UI is extremely responsive if I'm in the program guide, setup menus, etc.. Anywhere besides my Imported Videos and SageTV Recordings.

This UI behavior is consistent on all my remote clients. (Both Placeshifter and the full blown clients)

I thought this was due to a large number of transcode operations that I was running to cut back on space utilization, but they all ended this afternoon and the UI is still extremely unresponsive. I rebooted the box thinking that perhaps there was a memory issue or something, but it has not made a difference.

On my Sage server, I am running the default STV with the auto-compress STVi and the comskip playback STVi. I am also running ComskipMonitor. Oh, this is the latest release version of Sage (6.0.19, I believe).

Aside from that, this is a very clean install. VNC, Firefly drivers, Hauppage PVR250 drivers, ATI HDWonder and ATI 650 drivers, Divx, PowerDVD, Notepad++, AC3Filter, PureVideo, and Acronis True Image Home 10. That's pretty much it.

The biggest difference that I can think of with this reinstall is Acronis True Image. (Never used it on my Sage server machine before, but I'm only using it to back up my OS drive. I've seen it mentioned here on the forums before, so I wouldn't think it could cause issues like this.)

Can anyone point out any glaring problems?

I think that I've answered my own question... In thinking about it some more, I decided to load the default STV. When I did that, no more lag when looking through my SageTV Recordings... At all...

I loaded the one with just the comskip, and it lagged out after scrolling through a few files...
