Late Start (5 min) on some favorites

SageTV version: 6.0.19.120
Windows XP sp2
Hauppauge 250 (single tuner)

I'm having a problem where i have 3 favorites record in a row:

1) 11:00 pm -12:00 am on one channel
2) 12:00 -12:30 am on another channel
3) 12:30 - 1:00 am on same channel as #2

#1 has NO padding, record Q = "Fair"
#2 has 1 min padding on start/end and records SVCD Extra LP
#3 has 1 min padding on start/end and records SVCD Extra LP

I have no probs with #1 *or* #2 getting recorded properly, however,
#3 is consistently getting the first 5 minutes of the show lopped off.
(RED on progress display). If i'm watching this *LIVE* in the Sage Client
during the transition from #2 to #3, i see the client go to a black screen
and report "NO SIGNAL". So, the SageTV Service appears to be failing
to supply the signal to the client for some reason.

I have scanned the forums and run across a recommendation to change
seeker/fast_mux_switch to "false" (it is currently "true"). I have not
yet tried this, but if this actually does solve the problem, i would be
suprised. This 5 minutes happens at EVERY recording now, and it's not
an approximation, the show always starts at 5:01 after it's supposed to.
(i will be changing this tonight anyway, but this certainly seems like a
rather MAJOR bug that shouldn't be attributable to a preference setting)

I have no issues with hard disk space (40+GB free on 4 disks)

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
I'm happy to enabled debug logs if needed, just let me know what to do.

It looks like you already found the property change that might fix it. Another option is to use a different recording quality setting - something that isn't VCD or SVCD.

Setting seeker/fast_mux_switch to false fixed my problem of 5 minutes missing when recording shows back to back on the same channel.
