Imported Media Folder with MVP

Just got my MVP in the mail. When I go to Main Menu->Media Center->Imported Videos all my video files are displayed in one LONG HUGE list. But if I got the same area on a PC, everything is arranged neatly in folders as they are on the filesystem.

Why does viewing videos by MVP squash everything out into a single list and how do i make it behave like the Placeshifter on a PC?

There are multiple views available in imported videos. The green arrows at the top of the row of icons on the left changes the view. One of the views it called "Folders". Change to that and I think you will see what you want.

Thanks BobPhoenix! Works like a charm. I don't know why I didn't think to press the remote button on the green arrow icons. I guess that's because I've been using sage on a PC for several weeks. I got used to clicking the selections at the top of the screen with my mouse, and forgot that the green buttons change those as well. You're help is greatly appreciated.

Live and learn.

Now if only my Linux SageTV would play DVDs from the optical drive and/or from from the hard drive I'd be a completely satisfied customer.

This giant, glaring limitation of the Linux edition should be pointed out to customers in a clear and unambiguous way before they pay for the product. All the product literature on the website leads one to believe DVD playback is supported. The fact that it can't be done on Linux is quietly omitted leaving me to feel a little ripped-off. Maybe a matrix of supported features vs. operating systems would make everything clear, and customers then would know exactly what they're getting.

Is anyone at Sage listening? :-)

Cheers.
