How to revert back to an early version?
I'm running 6.1.6 now and it's to buggy to deal with.
Can I just reinstall say 6.1.3 over this on the server and clients to revert back? Thanks

There is a sticky at the top of this beta forum that explains how to install a new version while keeping the ability to revert to an older version.
I would not recommend simply installing an older version on top of the latest one because it is possible that wiz.bin has been changed & isn't compatible with the older version. You can try it, but it may not work correctly. If you did not make a backup copy of wiz.bin from the older version, you probably still have it in your SageTV install dir as "Wiz.bin.SageTV Vxxxx", where 'xxxx' is the old version number. - Andy

Thanks for the reply. One question. I did find some old backups. Is there a file that I can look to tell the version of that backup?
Thanks again

The only way I know to tell the wiz.bin's version number is for the auto-backups that I mentioned above, which get created the first time you run a new version.
