Installed new 6600GT OC card...DVD doesn't work

I had a 6200TC card for the last year. Today, I purchased a 6600GT OC video card and updated all drivers, etc..It works outstanding for video. Much better than the older card. However, when I tried to play a DVD (either a hard copy DVD or a ripped DVD on the hardfile) sage give's me a blank screen. When I press "stop" the icon starts spinning and I eventually have to turn off the computer to stop it. DVD's worked fine before I installed the new card.

I assume I have overwritten or deleted a driver or something when installing the new card. So, I need help...This looks somewhat familar to when I first upgraded to Sage version 6 and I couldn't get DVD's to play until I did something with a "Dshow player driver" (or something like that..I dont remember...)

Does the DVD Drive work in other aspects? Ie..does the disk spin up? Does it register in Explorer?

You probably need to reinstall your DVD decoder software. If you can't remember which decoder you use, check the DVD settings under Detailed Setup in Sage to find out. If you have it set to Default, then you might be using Nvidia PureVideo (which is what most Nvidia users use).

Also check DVD renderer -- I had problems when I was using FSE VMR9 for video, but the DVD renderer was Overlay...
