Best way to implement commercial skip?

I've looked over the comskip options and it's a bit overwhelming. What is the best/easiest way to implement this? Something that will involve the least (preferrably none) interaction from myself and that'll let me just skip commercial blocks during playback (to the best accuracy possible).

Also is there a way to get normal DVD/VHS FF/Rewind with the NVIDIA decoder?

I just started from your place yesterday...look at comskip manager, it is fairly self explanatory...There are two issues I had, one, is not to set it the stvi to start it up when you play(setup-->customize--->comskip settings) (it will freeze), second, use play_nice (search the comskip manual).

You will also need a stvi plugin for sage so if can recognize the edl files. Seach on here for both of these things...your lucky Im as new as you, cause this is an easily searchable issue, and many would probably flamer ya.....hope you can figure it out.

I'm using the combination of Dirmon2 + ShowAnalyzer + the Comskip plugin. For our typical recordings, it's very easily 95%+ accurate. ShowAnalyzer is not free, but at $10.00, I find it to be worth it. There are other successful solutions, but this works for me very well. And the Comskip plugin is very well thought out. You can have it auto-skip, or you can disable it and manually skip. I can post more details if needed, but there are lots of threads covering this.
