mediamvp will not play mp3 files
Sagetv server computer, no problem
TV client computer, no problem placeshifter computer, no problem mediamvp (2) will not play, and says it has error in files info details are ok. only one music folder directory over 1500 mp3 files in folder Help! Thanks, Ray

I had a problem similar to this ...
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24765 I installed the Hauppauge MVP software on the same pc as the server and that took care of everthing for me. (If you install the Hauppauge MVP software ... remember to stop their service from running) -Craig

I had it mp3s working a long time ago when I first started using
SageTV but have not checked since updating/changing tuners/etc. Can't remember if I installed mvp drivers. If watching TV and DVDs on mediamvp works, should not mp3s?? So many updates and switching computers I am not sure. Thanks, Ray
