Choppy Video During Sports with Sage6

I am new to SageTV and decided to purchase it after reading great reviews. I recently built a Media Center PC and everytime I use the program to record sports I seem to get choppy playback whether its recorded or live. Any other show seems to look great. I was wondering if anyone can help me out?

Here are my specs:
AMD Opty 165, 1Gb Ram, BFG GeForce 7600GT, 3x 250GB HDD (1 formatted for SageTV @64k clusters), Hauppauge! WinTV-HVR 1600. SageTV 6.

Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what a Opty 165 is, however your video card is better than mine (7600GS), I have a P4 3Ghz, and it plays fine after I followed the directions posted in this thread!

Might be the same problem you have.

Yeah that's the problem, if you following the steps to a tee in that link I posted, run Sage in Windowed mode you'll see the AC3 filter and Nvidia Filter come up.

In sage all the codecs should be set to Default, except VMR9
