No, there was nothing in the beta notes about it.

Yes, sad but true - perhaps more coffee is needed?

That will be sweet. OTA HD recording is not bad, but sometimes I get bad reception and QAM should fix that by recording via my cable instead.

I read this right after placing my order for a HDHomerun. Oh well I guess that means I have to get ANOTHER capture card.

More tuners = More fun right?

One thing, does the HVR-1800 work the same way? It appears to be a PCI-E version.

I had this in my storage directory for my 1600.... perhaps it is the same:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Frey Technologies\Common\AdditionalCaptureSetups\Hauppauge WinTV 418 Video Capture]
"CaptureMask"=dword:00000800
"ChipsetMask"=dword:00000010

Thumbs down HVR-1800 OTA ATSC not working

Can someone tell whats wrong based on the following criteria:

1) Windows Vista Hauppauge HVR-1800 MCE driver only. WinTV app and hauppauge "middleware" not installed.
2) Latest SageTV Beta
3) Registry settings in above post.
4) Large Outdoor UHF/VHF antenna hooked up to the DTV input of card for ATSC OTA

- When selecting this card as the capture device I'd like to add to SageTV, it gets stuck forever on the preview window with a circling sageTV cursor. I have to cancel out of there manually.

-When I scan for channels, it takes extraordinarily long to scan for ATSC channels. None of the OTA ATSC cards I've used on SageTV take this long.

-Channel scan find 0 channels. All my other ATSC cards using the same antenna find 16 or so.

Thanks in advance,
Michael
