EPG problem, UK

Hi,

I have had a perfectly working EPG for ages. Last night I noticed that there were no days in advanced stored in it, so I updated and did the manually update, and also the one from the web server and left it untill this morning.

Now there is no data in the EPG. I have even removed the source in an effort to get it back. When I get to the screen which asks which cable provider I am using, it is blank.

This isnt with the inbuilt EPG, which is why I didnt post it here. Its using XMLTV.

a few things to check off the top of my head......

Have you deleted your sage.properties and started with it creating a new one?

Have you checked that the entry
epg/epg_import_plugin=xmltv.XMLTVImportPlugin
is still in your sage.properties?

You should be able to select a postcode of 00000, and then it should show your XMLTV lineup. If its not there, you could add it back in and see if it then takes you to XMLTV lineup to select.

other thoughts are...

Have you upgraded your java to 6 and are you using an old version of xerces.jar that doesn't work with that version?

Turns out I am a plonker, again!

Somehow managed to remove my xmltv folder. put it back and all looks okay.

All EPG issues are covered in this forum section. Since the forum description was probably confusing about that, I've changed the forum description to (hopefully) be more clear.
