Question about choosing tuners?
Good Morning,
I am using version 6.1.9 SageTV Media Center on WinXP Pro. I have three tuners. Is there a way to specify the priority of tuners to use for recordings? To assign a tuner to a Favorite? To pick a tuner for watching LiveTV? I have searched this forum but didn't find anything on this. I also looked at the SageTV manual. I am fairly new user so perhaps I missed something. Please point me there if so. Thanks for any help, regards, --pseudonym

Tuner priority can be set via the mmc/encoders/<some number>/encoder_merit property; higher numbers are higher priority.
There is no setting to assign a tuner to various recordings. - Andy

I will check out the priority settings, thanks for that info.
Do you have an official wishlist to post and/or vote on requests? These options would be pretty handy for those of us with multiple tuners. Thanks and regards, --pseudonym
