Do D11-100s go to sleep
I'm trying to diagnose a situation that I've noticed.
1 out of 10 times when watching live tv, the stb doesn't tune to the right channel (actually it doesn't tune at all; it just stays on the channel it was last tuned to). It usually does this when I start watching tv after a period of inactivity. 9 out of 10 times the stb doesn't tune to the right chanel (doesn't tune at all, just like above), when recording a favorite. The only time a favorite would work is if I was tuning channels fine, then set a program to record within the next couple minutes. I thought it was the serial tuning that was giving a problem. I swapped in the dtv serial dll file from last year, but I'm still getting the problem noted above. I did some googling, and found a reference to the D11 screensaver, but I cannot find an option to disable it in the D11. So does anyone have an idea as to what is causing my d11 not to tune after a period of inactivity. And if there is a screensaver, is there a way to disable it. If need be, I have been collecting logs within Sage, if anyone wants to see them to let me know. But from what I can tell, I get the same log entries when tuning works, and when it doesn't work. Thanks for any info you can pass my way

Any ideas as to what may be causing my problem.
I don't think its a Sage problem, but I think I'll forward my debug log anyway.

Which drivers are you using? I am on the latest from prolific's site. Also, is windows able to put your port to sleep?

But the prolific driver is dated from 2005. Let me try updating it, and see what happens...

Here are the current Patersontech settings.
Since my last post I've disabled "Reciever Reset". I'm going to set something to record overnight and see what happens...

Ok. I've duplicated your settings.
Let me run a couple tests to see how it goes...

Yeah, I've already got reg entry in there.
So the test earlier today passed. It was a program that was starting in 1.5 hrs, and it tuned to the correct channel. I just set it to record a program that starts in 4 hrs. Lets see how it does then.

sorry it's not working out so well
I am running this on a 2K3 box with very little add on software. I don't have audio drivers or video drivers loaded either. Have you tried resetting your dtv receivers? My box is C2D 6420, 2GB 1066 RAM, Java 1.6, Server 2K3 SP2. B |

I just updated the bios to one of the beta versions (not too fond of that). I set a program for 6 am, so I'll see what happens. As far as the OS. I don't think there should be any differences between XP/2003. But I think I may try it out if push comes to shove...

Your USB reset count was 21. To my knowledge, I am not having issues with my connection needing to be reset. The problem could be in your receiver.

The test this morning didn't work either.
Yes I noticed that in my patersontech config. So you think it may be the stb?
