MVP wired port died today
Anybody know how long the Sage MVP warranty is? I didn't see it stated where I looked on the site. The network port on mine just crapped out. Both LEDs are out, but the unit still boots up into the select server screen. Been one week short of a year since I ordered. I figure I'm lucky if it's more than 30-90days, but I sent an email to support just in case.
Mods (or anyone in authority), should I just try to push this through Hauppauge directly instead of Sage?

I thought support/warranty for the MVP unit itself was through Hauppauge, but I'm not 100% certain of that. Since you are worried about the warranty period, rather than waiting to hear from SageTV, I suggest you go ahead and contact Hauppauge to see what they say about the problem.

I had the same thing happen to one of mine. One of my dogs bit down on the ethernet cord and that was that. Kind of sucks. I am not sure what the warranty is and I figured "dog bites" probably was not covered under the warranty. Oy.

I just sent one back to Hauppauge for the same problem earlier this week. (I did not buy this MVP from sage, but that shouldn't matter) I was told by Hauppauge support that the warranty was for 2 years.
Just e-mail their support and list your problem along with your name and address and they'll e-mail you an RMA number. |

all taken care of. the replacement arrived about 30min ago.
FYI, the MAC sticker on it has both wired AND wifi numbers.
