Placeshifter will not connect

6.2.5 beta, server and placeshifter. Server enabled, placeshifter user configured, license registered, connecting over LAN, firewall disabled on server.

Placeshifter starts and finds the server on the network, click to connect, connections window vanishes, returns after 5 seconds but no errors displayed.

Is there any debugging that can be enabled for the placeshifter client to work out whats going on?

Same here, under VISTA placeshifter cannot connect. I mean connect and then exit.

For anyone else having this problem:

Open the properties file in the SageTV\Clients\ folder on the server and find the following lines:

ui/remote_render property=false
ui/accelerated_rendering=true

If the values are as indicated above, either delete the lines out or swap the values (true to false, false to true). Worked for me.
