Dish Receiver problem not spinning up fast enough

I have a dish 301 and 501 receiver and find that when the receiver has not recorded for a while it does not spin up fast enough to catch the channel change sent by my USB-IRT. It ends up getting the last two numbers only and I miss recording the show.

Does anyone know how to correct this issue? I am looking to find a way to either make the Dish receiver not stop spinning or how to get Sage to prompt the spin up somehow first and then send the channel change.

It was mentioned that in the next beta, Sage would be adding in the option to add in a "IR command prefix" in which you could set it to send a "menu" or "channel up" IR command to the STB to wake it up or to get it to get away from a locked unsubscribed channel. Perhaps that will be able to take care of your issue on the Sage side if you can't fix it on the Dish side (maybe disabling any sleep modes in the Dish STB).
