Automatic recording conversion

Hello all:

I would like to have some favorites automatically convert from MPEG2 to MP4/Ipod format. I would settle if all recordings would convert after recording or at a predetermined time. (Would be nice if there were all put in a specific directory, but I do not want to get greedy).

I am happy with the quality of the SageTranscoder, so I do not need an outside encoder but if that solved the problem.......

I have been searching the forums for an answer but cannot find.

My SJQ plugin should be able to assist you with this task. Starting with v1.0.0 you can define rules that will trigger SageTV transcode jobs. You can write the rules such that only specific recordings are transcoded and you can restrict the time of day that jobs are sent for transcoding, etc.
