If your HDHomeRun Setup still has a SageTV tab, then you might want to update to the latest drivers from Silicondust (instructions here), as well as to the 6.2.10 release of SageTV if you're not there already.
The preferred way to run the HDHR with SageTV is now through the BDA drivers, rather than as a network encoder. I personally could never get the HDHR to work as a network encoder, though many others did. Now with the BDA drivers it is finally working for me. |

Had to upgrade both sagetv and hdhomerun.
Everything is ok now EXCEPT Can't record 2 channels on HDhomeRun Stuttering!!! CPU usage is only 15% Network is only 4% Do hear a lot of seeks with hard drive. Will try and defragment. Any other ideas? Thanks, Ray |

For more information on SageTV and HD recordings, you can look at this post: Found a great defragger!
...or do a Search for HDTV, HDHR or QAM. Just remember that digital broadcast capture is an emerging and evolving development in SageTV community and any comments or issues more than a few months old 'might' be obsolete. Some users are also researching issues with stuttering on playback. These can be caused by system bottlenecks or video driver issues. You can follow that continuing thread here: Microstuttering in 6.2.7 |

Make sure FSE is enabled in the advanced sage setup. Then close and restart Sage.

only on TV client AND FSE did stop the microstuddering on craw news strip. How does one keep track of the many small fixes? Thanks, Ray |
