Halli Splitter

I've set Halli up strictly for MPEG-2 PS. When I render a file in GraphEdit, I get the Matroska icon in the tray, and the file plays fine (smooth). When I play the file in Sage, I get no icon (not used). In Vista, you can't connect to an external process to see what Sage is using. Any tips on how to get Sage to use Halli?

I'm having the same problem only with mpeg-4 stuff- I think sage uses the sagetv splitter to allow for playback while a file is still recording. Not sure if this is true for the mpeg-4 stuff too though.

I have asked Sage to allow us to pick our own media splitter or at least let sage use the " default " installed media splitter. But its a no go for now.

this is prevent me from sage playing all my VC-1 1080P files. Your only option is submit a bug report and the more people that ask for it, the more they might actual let us choose.

BTW: I have been asking them for almost a year now to add this feature in. Even if they give us something like they did when choosing which H.264 decoder to use would be fine with me.
