Attempting to move version 4 or 5 client to a new system.

I attempted to do this so I could move my SageTV Client from my old notebook to my new one and the old one will not let me enter a blank. It just says "invalid license, re-enter license" in an infiinte loop. So how DOES one actually accomplish moving the license/client (version 4 or 5) to a new system?

I'm pretty sure you can just stop using it on the old laptop. Is there any problem when you attempt to use the license key on the new laptop?

As suggested above, just hit cancel & don't do anything else on the old client. Install the key on the new client. I was going to say that you'll have to restart the SageTV server, but I noticed that was already said in the quoted FAQ...
