SCreen goes blank in Live TV after end of show?

I thought I was getting freezes, but it's actually something different. If I have live tv running, my screen will go blank after a show ends and the next is about to begin. The audio is still present, and a few remote clicks seem to wake it up. How do I get rid of this?
