I merged the new line into the original line because there just isn't enough room here to have 2 lines of people milling about. And, we can't have it sound too official anyway...

This line has been blessed by the pope, President Bush, and Mark Cuban.

I am not sure how official this waiting line is... I would think that if it really were the official waiting line that it would have the word "Official" in the title spelled correctly.

This reminds me of when I visited the Soviet Union back in the 1980s. The general rule of thumb for the locals was "if you see a line, and it is short, get on it. When you get to the front buy whatever they have even if you do not need it. Then find somebody else who has what you want and trade."
