So what are we queueing for then? I hope they sell guinness when I get to the bar.
I just found a queue and when I got to the front they were selling Guinness. Want to trade for the HD Media Extender?

I just heard that people who had cat avatars before the HD Media Extender Sale Date was announced will be getting invitations to a "Special" "fe" line... With little stuffed mice & Complimentary Catnip... Is this true Andy ???

I don't know... to tell the truth, I never really paid much attention to the rules of this non-official line. I have, however, been enjoying my extender (thus the photos I posted) as a replacement for my 4 year old Xcard... I still get complete hardware decoding, but now the UI is much faster, in full color, and animations work too. Maybe having the right cat avatar played a role after all.

Well, either everyone in line is being extremely quiet (very doubtful around here), or Andy is standing in the location of the real official line and there is no one to be found for miles.

Aloha,
Mike

I hate standing in lines, very rarely need anything that badly. Have fun, I'll be over there relaxing

since SageTV is in California. I expect the HD Extender available in 5 hours as it will be midnight December 10, 2007.

Does SageTV allow 24/7 Will call, I'll stop by and pick it up.

Hehe, that's exactly what I was thinking. Since I work in Westwood, I thought about PM'ing someone to see if I can just drop by and buy the guys some lunch while I pick up my order.

The offer is valid if someone wants to go. There's an In-n-out right over there - could be fun!

These guys worked really hard on getting this extender out, it looks to be as good or better than we all hoped, and all you are going to buy them is In-n-Out? Man, I wish I was in LA so I could thank these guys for real.

They aren't really set up to sell to people who come to the door, so I don't think this offer will be accepted.

Seeing as you are not shipping outside of the US and Canada, can I e-Bay my position in the queue?

Alternatively, could people in the US and Canada buy some spare HD extenders and put them on e-Bay?

I figured that would be the case. Ah well, more In-n-out for me!

And Autoboy, surely you haven't HAD In-N-Out if you refer to it as 'just' In-n-out.
