SageTV 6.3 Favorites Issue?

I have been fighting this upgrade since I took it on a few days ago in anticipation of the HD extender. Tonight I selected two Frosty the Snowman shows for the kids and added them as favorites. I did this at 6:45pm. The shows are at 7pm and 7:30pm. The items have the white outline around them noting them as a favorite, but they do not have the red dot with a "F" on them noting them as a favorite. The kids just now (7:20pm - I am a slow typist) started to watch and I discovered Sage was not recording the shows ... neither of the shows are listed in the scheduled recordings. There are no conflicts/nothing else is being recorded. If I force the recordings by doing a manual record, I first get the conflict icon for a brief two count and then it switches to the manual icon (red dot with a "M") - everything works now as the shows are now listed in the recording schedule and recording. When I undo this, they are no longer listed/getting recorded even though they are still favorites (watch is status is unwatched). It as if the favorites selection/process simply does not work. Before I submit a bug report, I thought I would float this by you to see if a) you have experienced the same thing and b) if you can think of anything I may have missed in my trouble shooting efforts.

Yup, tried all those/none of those apply. Sounds like I am on my way to a bug report.

is it possible that the favorites were defined too close to the airing time? The recording plan is recalculated at regular intervals and when certain things are changed, but not sure adding a favorite triggers a re-plan. I believe there are several known ways to force a re-plan; I don't know what they are.

Or I'm all wet.
