Soon to be posted...

Sage Pro MC Theme V0.08 for SageMC 16x9 STV V6.3

Includes the SagePro MC export to ease configuration. It's a more advanced verison of the one I did for the default STV.

You must have SageTV 6.3.7 and SageMC 16x9 STV 6.3.7. Video and Now Playing is Side Panel. RSS news feed ticker at bottom. (Yes-the Side Panel is a little empty without something playing. Trying to figure out how to address that. If at all.)

Oh now that is slick.

BTW, I'm planning on adding an alternate graphic to be used when nothing is playing in the preview panel.

Aloha,
Mike

Very nice Gerry - It's good to see some new themes hitting the circuit. The "bubble" 3D look is kinda of dated now - good to see a flatter theme!

btl.

Here's my latest layout.

I also have a slightly off topic question, why does the RSS feed always get pushed to the right when viewing the preveiw panel from the front page. If I stop the video the RSS feed will move to the centre again. This can be seen in the two images provided below.

Cheers

Ben

Awesome, do you use up/down, or left/right to scroll that one?

Is there any way to customize using SageMC so that the interface is touchscreen friendly. I love SageMC and use it on my remote based systems, but still use the clunky original skin for my touch panel because SageMC doesn't seem to do certain things you need w/o keyboard or some none single click enabled capability (e.g. popping up a controllable time tracker/transport and exit control when you touch the screen). Please don't tell me those kinds of features can't be customized...

+1

I too use Sage on a touch screen in my kitchen (great for Good Eats ) but can't use SageMC because there's no stop button in the OSD. Otherwise, I think it would work for me.

Yeah, I love to cook and I love Good Eats (150 episodes on the server ), so it just made sense. On many ocassions I've been making something and did a quick search and up comes just the episode I need.

I just have to remember to wipe off my sticky fingers before touching the screen

I haven't tried it for this application, but the toolbar plugin might help.

Aloha,
Mike

Mike - Tried the toolbar plugin, but because the touchscreen I have doesn't respond well on the edges, I can't get it to slide in when I need it.

Too bad really. I like the toolbar.

Maybe Mike can add a configurable option to have touchtab hang down unobtrusively that would let you touch and popdown the toolbar. Kind of like a touchscreen mode option.
