STX-HD100 Screen Saver Not Working

I can't get the screen saver to work.

-General-

Screen Saver on Sleep = Enabled
Screen Saver Timeout = 1 minute
Screen Saver Style = Logo

Is there something I'm missing or can check in the property files?

I put the 12-26 on last night, but I still can't get the screen saver to come on.

If I don't connect to the server and leave it at the start up screen the saver kicks in, but when connected to the server it wont.

I also have the older MVP and it's screen saver works fine.

I had 1207 and my screen saver still didn't work then. My screen saver has not worked from day one.

same here, screensaver doesn't work with 1207. And even worse, can't check for updates, it just hangs during check. Could be update server problem at the time I was doing it, will have to try again later.

Screen saver does not work here either on the HD extender.

Mine is connected with an HDMI cable. Wonder if that makes a difference, since it seems to work for others ?

Make sure to open a support ticket. I'm currently supplying them debug logs to analyze. The more we have the better chance to fix this. Mine never worked and I have the latest firmware update 20071226 I think.

add 1 more to it not working. MVP screensavers still work. None of them can manually be put into standby anymore...

Send a message via ICQ to Motofreak75
I have already reported it and support said they already have it fixed in the next release, but which release who knows. could be firmware or server software.

This is good news that a fix is on the way. I just hope it comes before any damage to my TV.

I used to think screen burn-in was for CRTs only, but I have a Dell LCD monitor at work with an image burned into it.

Most likely it will be a firmware update to fix this. I can select Standby and it works.

Well I just set the thing up and flashed the firmware a little more than a week ago so that would make it 20080204 0, But I would have to confirm this when I get home from work.

Nevermind, a reboot of the server and extender seems to have fixed this.
