Any utils to shift 4x3 image around tv?
What I mean in my abbreviated question is that some 16x9 tv's will take a 4x3 image and move it subtley around the screen to prevent any kind of burn in while letting you watch your image undistorted.

My toshiba has no such feature but I wondered if someone had written such a thing for sage. This way I could use source instead of fill without worrying about screen burn on the sides--(we watch way more 4x3 stuff than 16x9 stuff)

Sage has that feature.

Its called Video Orbiting, pg.179 in the manual

Does this option work with the HD Extender? I had a quick glance but couldnt find it in the settings menu.

It is turned off in the STV code for extenders. I tried enabling it but it doesn't appear to work on the HD extender.
