Moving from SageTV back to TiVo HD (Slowly)
To all,
I know that a number of people have already mentioned their desire to use cable to get HD channels. SageTV is in every room in my house, so I am a big believer of SageTV. However, HD is a bigggie for me on my priority list, so I bit the bullet and bought the TiVo HD unit. The unfortunate part is that not being able to receive cable HD channels on SageTV is not a Sage issue, but an industry issue in the sense that there are very few options to receive HD channels on a computer, if any. Until the industry decides the solution will be (i.e., new computers with DRM approved cable cards, external cable card enabled computer add-ons, etc...) I will slowly be using the TiVo HD solution more and more. Not sure if others out there have the same frustration, but for me HD is a #1 on my TV watching experience. Regards, Matt
