How to pad the end of a manual recording?
I can see in the Favourites options that I can set each favourite to pad (i.e. record a bit extra) at the start and finish of the broadcast.
However, I would also like to be able to do this with a manual recording. Lost the last 5 minutes of a movie the other day - very frustrating. Any solutions?

In the default STV: if you select a Manual Recording, you can select Record Options then choose Adjust Recording Options. At that point, you can set the padding values for it. (v6.3 PDF manual: page 40 leads to pages 98 & 99.)
As of beta 6.3.7, the hidden extras let you define default settings for new Favs & new Manual Recordings, including padding. (Note that this could cause more scheduling conflicts when trying to create a new manual recording.) - Andy
