no thumbnails for my pictures

I am using SageMC. I am unable to generate thumbnails for My Pictures. I am using a UNC path. I have attempted to generate the pictures both of the server and the client. But even after I get thumbnails generated, there are no thumbnails. I do see all the pictures when the screensaver comes on. Any ideas?

unfortunately no. that is what is weird. there is no list of photos.

I've had this happen a couple of times previously and I'm not sure what fixed it. I either removed and readded the photo directory or I just backed up Sage and did a quick clean install. One or the other fixed it.

I had a similar problem w/ video sharing recently. Sage was running on the server as a local service rather than under administrator rights. With Windows, local services can't access other computers on the local network. The PCs need administrator rights to see the vids or pics on another machine. Make sure Sage service is associated with administrator privileges to see pics across the network.

I'm having the same problem. Can see vids and music fine which are on the same machine, but no pics unless I turn on the slideshow, and then they're all there. Otherwise, the Pictures page is just blank. They show up fine if I switch to the standard STV, it's just in MC that I'm having the problem.

EDIT: just upgraded MC from 6.3.6b to 6.3.7 and it appears to have fixed it.
