international channels with Extender and r5000

I recently became a Sagetv convert -- bought 2 extenders and set up a home server. Everyting has been working well so far but I've gotton hiccups here and there. My system and setup is as follows:

SageTV 6.3.9 running as a service on a WinXP SP2 machine using NextComm R5000 modded Dish 411 receiver and an HDTVFusion ATSC PCI tuner for local HDTV
2 HD100 Media Extenders
2.2 Terabyte Linux Ubuntu Samba Server running ZFS RaidZ2

I have the following issues:

I subscriber to international Polish channels on Dish network. The extender cannot view these channels. SageTV and the R5000 record these channels just fine. I can play them back with VLC or other players but the extender cannot play them back -- the extender runs really slow when trying to view these Polish recordings or live Polish tv from Dish. All other Dish channels work fine. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? Will a future firmware update fix this? Do i need to submit a bug to SageTV and a clip of the offending recording?
