Selecting local OTA digital channels and Dish R5000

My system and setup is as follows:

SageTV 6.3.8 running as a service on a WinXP SP2 machine using NextComm R5000 modded Dish 411 receiver and an HDTVFusion ATSC PCI tuner for local HDTV
2 HD100 Media Extenders
2.2 Terabyte Linux Ubuntu Samba Server running ZFS RaidZ2

My Dish 411 receiver is capable of tuning local over the air digital channels and this works very well on the 411. I've remapped Dish HD Satellite Local channels (I do not susbcriber to Dish Satellitle local channels) to over the air local HDTV channels (using channel number physical remapping in sources setup) -- now I have guide info for my HDTV locals.

My problem is that SageTV seems to tune to the wrong channel. For example my local CBS HDTV channels is channel 002-01 in the Dish Programming Guide. To view it on the Dish 411, I press 00201 on my Dish remote and I can view the channel. When selecting the channel from the SageTV program guide, I see 201 being entered as the channel number on the Dish receiver. Looks like the leading 00 is ommitted. Is this a SageTV issue or an R5000 issue? I'd like to be able to use my Dish 411 receiver to record locals when my FusionHDTV tuner is recording something else already (this would help in conflict resolution).

Thanks..

-- John

Anybody?

I've searched all over the forum and haven't really found an answer. I'm not having this exact same problem. Just sage with PVR150 IR blaster.

I remapped the physical channel to 00401, but sage just sends 401 which puts dish on a 'Buy This program' dialog.. arrggg..

Is there a solution to this?

I've set maximum channel digits to 5 and didn't seem to make a difference.

Thanks, MIke

P.S. I have a Dish 211.

If I simply enter the first three digits, i.e. 004 instead of 00401, the dish does tune to the first channel at 004, so for now, I have a workaround.

This method will not work if I wanted to tune to say 004-02 instead of 004-01. But for now, I'm ok with that.

I looks like a bug in Sage, because if I use a physical channel number of 00401 it just sends 401, but if I use 004, it does actually send 004.
