I am buying 4 for sure. I have 1 right now and it works great. I am trying to get rid of MCE. I may even buy 5. We'll see.

Buying just the one this time around until I figure out what else I need to get the free to air BBC HD channel up and running properly. You know that they're very close when they've gone and updated the shipping weight on the ordering page. Used to be 7 pounds and now at 6 pounds...

Actually, the shipping weight was 5 pounds when I ordered mine. I then saw it go to 6 and then to 7. When I got the HD extender I weighed it to see what the actual weight was and it was 6 pounds.

I want another one...and use it with a dell monitor, but until I am sure that it will put the monitor into standby when the extender is turned off by the remote, I will not get it.

Buying two to share between three TV's. I'll just move one around as needed.

Since I don't have one yet, I need to evaluate them before I decide to get a third for the kid's TV in the basement. The choice will be between a DVD player and a Sage HD extender. If it works as well as everyone says it does, I'll opt for the extender and just load up my Sage server with all the kid's movies.

I wish I'd bought 2 the first round now that I've had my HD 100 since the first batch.

Now to get one for the bedroom TV and sell my Hauppauge Media MVP.

A bundle with SageTV Client? I don't see why they would offer that one. It doesn't really make sense. Generally speaking, you would think buying the extender would relieve a need to buy a client license, not create one.

There is a bundle with SageTV server, and the extender is always bundled with an extender/placeshifter license for its own usage. Are you looking for one of those bundles?

I justed check the Sage Store and they now list the HD-100 and Sage Server software for a packaged price of $250. This is what was announced in the beginning, and now it actually shows up in the store. Since I haven't bought Sage yet, I need to buy the bundle.

But Reggie is correct, if you already own the Sage Server, you do not need the bundle. The regular $199 price includes a client license. So you only need the bundle if you do not have the Main Sage Server software.

I ordered the server+extender bundle as well, I assume it also includes 1 extender license? I didn't see it mentioned on the page.

Ordered two!

It pains me to wait for ground shipping, but I couldn't see spending >$50 to get it faster.
