Can HD-100 be operated vertically?

I'm stuck for space in my bedroom, so I was wondering if the HD-100 could be operated vertically? Should the USB ports be up or down?--or does it matter?

The HD100 has no moving parts, so upside down, right side up, on it's side - shouldn't matter.
EXCEPT you don't want to block any ventilation slots.

I'd steer clear of inside-out, though.

If I had a choice, power supply on the top would be my option. (The side with the cord, I'd guess).

see, now if my wife asked me a question like that, I would look at her with a straight face and warn her that it had to be mounted with the USB ports facing up. If they were facing down, then the USB would likely begin to leak out the ports...
