HD100 remote command problem on learning remote

Hi all,
well, like many I'm for the most part very pleased with the HD100. Video quality is excellent and easy of use is fantastic compared to my old HD client box; setup took like 25 min total (most of that was the firmware upgrade).

The one issue I'm having is a kind of strange thing. I programmed all of the commands into my URC R5 remote (btw, I have a harmony 880 upstairs, and honestly, I prefer this $20 piece) and for the most part it works fine.

However, it has this weird glitch where it won't transmit "Select" to the same menu twice without changing the current item selected.

Example: You're in SageTV recordings menu, you select something to watch, which brings up the watch options dialog. If you then select "Watch Now", nothing happens (though it's clear IR is being transmitted from the receiver flashing on the HD100). If I tab down to "Record Options" and then back up to "Watch Now", I can then select it and the program starts.

I've tried clearing the "Select" command from the URC and reprogramming it with the same result. Really frustrating.

Anyone have any ideas?

PS. I used the same remote with the old HD client box and USB-UIRT with no problems at all.

Your remote isn't learning the toggle state of the IR code from the HD100 remote.

If the remote can't be programmed for properly toggling RC5 IR codes, then you could try setting this property in the HD100's properties file:
rc5_disable=true
