Ripped DVD repeat?

I am still getting my SageTV implementation off the ground. I have a question regarding ripped DVD's or any recorded content. Sometimes I have to admit I use the TV as a pacifier for my children. When using the cable systems system I can only select one program to display and then 25 minutes later I am forced to either replay that one or select another for my children. Is there a way to create a playlist of content so I can select the list and as it finishes one program another one will follow?

For me all I do is folder my childrens shows.
I set to shuffle and play all when I select the folder.
Not that elegant but works well.

You can make a video playlist (on the fly) by selecting "add to playlist" for each of the ripped movies you want and then play that playlist with the option to repeat if you want.
