Is there a subscription thread for HDExtender back-in-stock?

Is there a thread that's going to be updated when the HDExtender is back-in-stock that I can subscribe to?

I've decided to go client-less, which means I need a 2nd one for the H/T room.

Yes -- the HD100 firmware update notification thread. That's where I posted the last note about it being back in stock.

Sorry to ask, but I am faced with do a lot of work to setup a PC to be a placeshifter client - or wait a bit to get another HD extender.

So.... any word on when they might be back in stock? A rough guess? Even a 1 week or 1 month or 1 year ball park would help.

Thanks and sorry to bug you guys about it.

According to Opus they are back in stock as indicated by his post in this thread.
STX-HD100 Firmware Updates (Notifications only)

If this isn't the case it would seem that that thread needs to be edited to indicate so.

Negative. They apparently sold out about a week after stock was replenished...couldn't find the thread that said this, but it's out there somewhere.

gveres, it took a couple months to get stock last time they ran out...can't say whether it'll take the same amount of time or not to get the next shipment, but, at least there's a ballpark for ya.

Yea I know it took a couple of months on the last batch. I missed out on the first batch by a couple of days. I picked one up in the second batch and it worked so well, I need another.

I am hoping the third batch doesn't take a couple of months. I think that the second batch took so long because they had to solve the IR receiver problem. Since there doesn't seem to be any problems with these units, I am hoping they can get them in a lot quicker this time. Its already been a month.

SageTV is missing out on a lot of sales opportunities

..by not being able to keep up supply with demand. do they only have a single supplier? it's ridiculous having to wait so long to buy one of these units.
was it poor plannign or just an underestimate of demand?
