ok I am dumb!
I blew up my system, and had to reinstall. I can not get the previously recorded videos to import.

Do you mean that you are trying to get your old recordings to be recognized as recordings? To do that, you will need to have your old wiz.bin, since that contains the database of recordings & associated EPG info. If you don't have the old wiz.bin, then there is no EPG data to connect the recordings to. I suggest making bakcups of at least wiz.bin and the properties files in the future.
If you do have the old wiz.bin file, then perhaps see the sticky topic in this forum about moving files. - Andy

Because I could not use wiz.bak, i said screw it and blew it all away.
I was trying to get comskip working, and had comskipmon running, and the sage service. it all went south for some reason. I restarted the system, and it wanted me to reconfigure, so i knew something was wrong. I stopped everything, and put back the settings file, and the wiz.bak > wiz.bin. It blew up again. so I really foobar'd it good. Oh well, luckily there was only a couple of recorded shows there. next time i make a backup. Thanks |
