Re-install trial

I tried the 6.3 trial a while ago...and I would like to check it out again before buying. Anyone knows how to install the trial again? (the application complains that my 21 day trial is over)

You cannot. Not without wiping out your OS and reinstalling. You could try to comtact support to see if they may extend it. I'm not sure of their policy. Or install it on another machine. Current version is still 6.3. 6.3.10 to be exact so it shouldn't be much different except for bug fixes. Did you have particular issues?

I'll save you some time. I tried quite a few different app's on both Windows and Linux before realising that there is no real alternative to sage (On an XP platform for me).
And everyone who has used my system, is now either a sage user, or are building a system so that they can become a sage user.

I have plenty of time. Also I would like to verify that digital TV (swedish COMHEM) works as good as in DVB Viewer. I also need total control over all codecs and filters etc. With a better UI, DVB Viewer would be a killer application.

If you did a C drive disk image before installing the "trial" software, then you could "completely" remove it by recovering to the "pre-trial" image of computer system.

If you use SageTV daily, and depend on it working, then you should be using disk imaging so that you can quickly recover the computer. SageTV is reliable and works well after tweaking it. However, when you and others depend on it working every day, then you need to be prepared with a quick and easy way to recover if a problem ever occurs with the SageTV computer system.

SageTV is not expensive compared to the value it gives you.
