This is what I got from Sage today after my bug report:

Yeah, we noticed that. We've fixed it already and will be uploading a new
firmware today or tomorrow.

I can confirm that 6.4.8 and firmware 20080812 play all the clips (MTS & M2TS) from Canon Vixia HF100 perfectly after I have specified

force_full_content_reindex=true

in Sage.properties

I just wanted to say that I just got a Sony sr-12, and I was able to play the files on the hd extender with the newest beta firmware. I was so excited that I was able to play the files!

Works for me as well with my Canon HF10

But I also had to specify force_full_content_reindex=true

'Just want to verify before I buy a Canon HF10. Do videos from this still work with the extender?

Actually, they work since 6.4.x series. I have HF100 since June and used it with HD100 and 6.4.7 for 7 months without any issues.

Actually it works with 6.4.x as well. I got my HF100 in june and have been using it with 6.4.7 and HD100 without any issues.

There has been a file name issue that prevented some files to be played from my HF10. But that is fixed in 6.5.7.
