FYI, real life has intervened for both flachbar and myself. We haven't had much time to work on SageMC lately.

In my case, I had a minor heart attack a couple of months ago. Surgery wasn't necessary, but I'm still adjusting to all of the medications that I'm now on. They mostly make me tired, which has made it difficult to stay up late to work on SageMC.

I'm expecting that we will be able to get back to work on it again soon, but at the moment there is no ETA for the next version.

Aloha,
Mike

EDIT: I moved these posts to a new thread so as not to derail the screenshot thread where they were originally posted. It feels a bit weird promoting this discussion to its own topic. Oh well....

Get better soon and don't worry about us whiners. It's just TV, after all.

Get well soon! You know, if we could convince the powers that be to produce better television shows, we'd be less concerned about the GUI that surrounds it!

Am I asking for too much??

Sorry to hear that...my Dad's been through it all (and then some more). I'm sure you're dealing with information overload right now, but if you have questions...feel free to give me a shout.

I hate to say it, but life's more important than SageTV. <smile> Do what ya gotta do!

Mike,
Sorry to hear about the Heart Attack. It does bring focus to the things that are important in life.... Take it slow and get well.

I'm really sorry to hear about the heart attack. By all means, be sure to get plenty of rest.

I assume that the quote in your signature is from your son. I love that quote.

Yup, that was uttered by my son one morning and I thought is was perfect. Actually the next morning he made another comment that was the perfect juxtaposition. I may have to add it to the first quote:

"No, it's real! I'm full."

I immediately made the connection and was doubled over with laughter.

Aloha,
Mike

Mike,

Hadn't been very active of late and while catching up on old posts came across this one.

Hope you are doing better and are taking it as easy as possible (kids and all that).

Get well...

Mike

Mike,

Just bandwagon-jumping, but I wish you the speediest, best recovery.

Just seeing your news. Take care of yourself first. But isn't making major STV overhauls good for stress reduction?
