Studio locks up generating STVi

Every time I try to generate an STVi in Studio, it freezes up and pegs the CPU. I have tried launching studio with both SageMC and the default STV. I have tried diff-ing multiple different STVs to get the STVi, from various locations (mapped drives, local drives), but it never seems to work.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Some Specs:
Windows XP SP3
SageTV 6.4.2.170
Java 1.6.0_04 (Not the latest but that's what Sage installed)

Other things of note: This system is run headless, so all of my interaction with Sage is over RDP. Also, I just bought Sage yesterday and this is my first time using Studio. The changes I've made are working, I just can't generate an STVi.

Had the same problem and needed to increase the max JAVA heap size to 200 (512MB) as described here.

I gave that a shot (thanks for the tip, btw) but unfortunately the problem still exists.

I'll play around with it some more tomorrow and see if I can figure out anything else.

Be sure to submit a bug report so SageTV can check it out further.

I did that. There was no place for me to attach the files I am trying to use, so I assume they will contact me if they want them.

In case anyone else runs into this, it was basically user error. I was trying to diff a 6.4 stv with a 6.3 stv. Anything prior to 6.4 can not use the new "Generate STVI" functionality.
