HD100 Playback Issue
Hey guys,

I just got my media extenders in today. Everything seems to work OK except for my H.264 playback. I have my movies encoded in "Matroska" H.264, 704x388@24fps, AC3@48kHz 5.1 format. Nothing is coming up. No video...no sound.

Have you installed the v6.4 beta and updated the firmware on the HD100 to the beta firmware?

Oh, and I moved your SageMC question to that section of the forum.

No I'm using 6.3 on the server and the HD100 has the latest firmware (non-beta)

I thought the HD100 supported H.264 natively?

It does, but there are tons of different options for H.264, and it can be in lots of different container types. Saying it supports H.264 doesn't mean ALL possible options/combinations involving H.264.

I'm using MKV as the container, in "Matroska" H.264, 704x388@24fps, AC3@48kHz 5.1 format

OK I just tried the Beta server with the Beta HD extender firmware...and still no dice.

I just changed containers to AVI and now it works. For some reason the MKV is not working.
