HD100 Issue using SageMC

Hey guys,

I just got my media extenders in today. When I tried to apply the SageMC theme, I had a bunch of errors and I had to delete the client properties files. Any thoughts on how to fix this as well?

Thanks,

Does the HD100's not support SageMC?

I had SageMC running via the hd extender. Your errors may not be related to the SageMC + HD extender, but rather just having issues installing SageMC. I tried to install a couple of different SageMC versions before I got it to install cleanly. The issues that I had were related to running SageMC on linux. I don't run SageMC anymore, so I can't test to see if it still works with the newer version.

Yes, it runs MC fine, all of mine (including MVPs) run it just fine. Not sure what your problem is...sorry, just letting you know it works great

I am assuming that the SageMC install is the same as when you do it on a PC. Just select the SageMC16x9.xml file and it loads?

yep

in fact, on mine, they come right up on Sage MC without me doing anything extra. I assume there is a setting file somewhere that saves all my settings for my extenders/MVP.

I too am using the latest beta and HD100 firmware all with SageMC with no problems.

Have you used SageMC before?
If not, give this a read and see if it helps at all.

Main thing to make sure you do is that you follow step 7 in the installation tutorial at that link.

I figured out how to get SageMC working on the HD100. The only problem now is, any additions I make to the main menu is not staying. I added Netflix and Weather to the main menu, and removed Play DVD...and when the device restarts it's back to the default SageMC menu.

Thoughts?

Did you save the file after the changes on your HD 100? Right-click on screen for the Dynamic menus options and go to file-save. It should tell you file was written.

And if you are making changes from the HD100 itself you have to hit 'Options' instead of the right clicking.

Yeah the "File...Save" seemed to work and save the options. To answer your question yes I was hitting options, it just wasn't saving.
