BBC News instead of BBC Three

On at least one of my tuners (DVB-T) when I tune to BBC Three I actually get BBC news. On other tuners (also DVB-T using the same linup) I get BBC Three correctly.

Any ideas what the issue could be or any hints as how to diagnose this issue?

Compare the .frq frequency files in SageTV directory to see if they differ for the BBC3 line

I ran into the same problem on both of my tuners but didn't think there was enough on BBC 3 to warranty investigation :-) (Then I kinda forgot about it...)

I'd guess your 2 frequency files are different.

There is one for each tuner on the card.

I'd guess the channel numbers are different for that channel.

Move the incorrect one out of the way (just incase), and then copy the good one and give it the name the other one had, if that makes sense.

Hey Guys - thanks for the quick response.

It seems two of my four tuners have this line missing:

CH:3 onid:9018 tsid:4100 sid:4351 frq:506000000 band:8 ctrl:1 #:BBC-THREE

I'll I guess I'll try copying the files as recommended by doc later and seeing if it helps - can't try now as of course BBC Three is not transmitting yet..

Not on BBC Three he wont

and that could be why its missing if you ran the original scan when it wasn't on air. I had the same problem trying to get cbeebies

Didn't Little Britain start on bbc three ? I guess its got some good shows. I will add that line myself, I've never figured out how to get the channels picked up so I tend to restart everything
