As far as the "profiles are confusing due to logins", I call BS on that.

From the Master account, you can easily flip into any of the sub-profiles. You need to re-login to go back to master. This makes sense, because the master account has the ability to upgrade the membership level or change the shipping address.

"Watch Instantly" works, but the selection is garbage. If I want to watch 1-1.5 star movies, I'll watch cable.

I've been a happy Netflix customer for many years... this bone-headed decision of theirs is going to force me to jump ship. Unfortunately, the only alternative service is Blockbuster, which isn't as good. I'm mad enough at Cablevision for continuously dropping more channels from my lineup and slowly jacking my monthly rate. I don't need this crap from Netflix too.

They are no where near as fast as Netflix since all videos are sent from the west coast (I'm in the midwest). Also they don't have the selection (numbers of copies of each movie) that Netflix does. But they have some titles that you wont find anywhere else.

They promote that by donating money (directly from their site): "GreenCine, the leading online DVD rental service for the alternative scene, believes in the betterment of life and society through the advancement of film arts. We set aside a portion of our revenues each year to award organizations that foster film making, access to cinema and movie preservation. GreenCine pays special attention and tribute to those who engage in the maverick spirit of maintaining alternative viewpoints and the expression of diversity in all forms through the medium of film." May just be marketing but sounded good to me.

You spoke, and we listened. We are keeping Profiles. Thank you for all the calls and emails telling us how important Profiles are.

We are sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused. We hope the next time you hear from us we will delight, and not disappoint, you.

We are keeping Profiles.
Since I wrote in complaining about them taking away profiles, I went ahead and wrote them today thanking them for not doing it!
