List what won't record

Hi!
New user and just purchased Sage. I tried several out there and Sage is the best. WAF is also highest on Sage! We are coming from a DirecTivo unit and there is 1 thing we can't find.

Last night an episode of Two and a Half Men did not record. I have it set to record all episodes from all channels at any time. This episode wasn't already recorded or watched.

My question is, is there an easy way to see what WON'T record and why? On the Tivo, it was easy to go in the To-Do list and see what would not record due to conflicts, already recorded within 30 days, someone forced it not to record, and so on.

Thank you!

No there is not a way to find out after it has already happened. I wish there was. It is a nice to have though. Not a necessity. You could figure it out by going to the list of what did record, count up you tuners and figure it out that way. Keeping in mind the channel limitations of each tuner.

However, if a conflict is due to happen in the future, you should get notified about that with the icon on the home page.

there is a FAQ that gives some hints on troubleshooting this:

Does that FAQ pertain to the SageMC? That is what I am using. I should have specified that. I don't see much in white, italics, and so on.

It would be nice to see the list beforehand of what won't record for whatever reason. It doesn't do much good to look back and see why it didn't record, after you have already missed the program. I have seen conflicts pop up if there are not enough tuners to go around for too many scheduled recordings at once.

SageMC is just a interface customization, as skin, the backend recording functionality is identical. White == Favorite, Italics == Watched, Red == Watched, Grey == Don't Like.

Most likely, if it didn't record, and didn't raise a conflict, that means that there was another show airing at that time that couldn't be recorded by another tuner or at a later time, and Sage found another instance of the "skipped" episode that it could record at a later date.

If you know exactly which episode did not record you could verify this by looking ahead in the recording schedule to see if that episode is slated to record at a later date.

It won't necessarilly be in the recording schedule, the scheduler will look through all current guide data (2 weeks) for an alternate airing of the episode, but only "schedules" the next 3 days by default.

I guess with SageMC in the My TV display it is different. When I switch back to the "normal" Sage interface and look at my recordings, I can see the black, italics, and so on. In SageMC all the fonts are all one font, but there are little icons next to the shows to indicate watched, HD, etc. There is a yellow dot next to some with a number, blue dots, etc. I will search around and find the description of those dots!

Thanks a lot to all who replied.
