licensing compatability ver 4 ver 6 etc

Hi,

I am sure this is somehwere in this forum, but I can not find it... I have old licenses and new licenses.

I upgraded to ver6 for my server, do I need a new or upgrade license for my client? or will the old client numbers work?

How about my hauppauge mvp media player, I have an old license for that when I was using sage 4, will it still work with server 6 license?

Thanks

A couple places where this is covered is in this post and at the bottom of the downloads page.

In short: only the server needs an upgrade license when moving to v6 from v4 or earlier.

No, OS-specific licenses are not transferable from one OS to another.
