Trying to save new IMDB killed SageTV dead

I started playing with SageTV client yesterday. Its been running fine and I haven't made any changes. I added the new IMDB jar an hour ago, it worked to get info. I clicked save description and my SageTV gave me the spinning wheel endlessly so I ended task. I started it up again and get a black screen with a spinning wheel. This seems to be the culprit:

For an hour now everytime I try and start up SageTV its a black screen and a spinning wheel and it keeps trying to save the IMDB info. I tried to save IMDB data for Apacalypto. Is there anyway to get it to stop trying to save that info?

WinXP, full screen exclusive is not checked, 7900 GS. I'm probably going to just give up on it, its not a big deal but thought I'd report it.

Sorry, I'm new to SageTV client. What happened is that saving the data locked SageTV server. Both in service mode and not service mode. It didn't kill it or spike the CPU, which is why I didn't notice it, but the SageTV server gui gets locked. However, I can close it using the close button (top right).

Any idea why this is happening?

Make sure you restart SageTV after adding in the new jar file or else it won't get picked up properly. Other than that I'm not sure. I'll let youknow if I think of anything else.

This is at the precise time I try to save the info on the client. I'm running SageTV in service mode. If I switch to the default STV on the client and use JREkiwi's RWmetadata and nielm's old IMDB import with the 6.9 jar it works.

I think I may be on the end of my SageTV voyage. Now that I got the client setup, I thought the family would get into it but they keep using Media Portal. Anyway, I hope this helps SageMC somehow.

Nailed it down. Only mkvs are the problem. If I change the name of a mkv to avi, no error and the data saves.

I am having the exact same problem with version 6.8 of the imdb .jar file, and I am using .mkv files as well. It retrieves the info fine, but I get the same spinning circle and black screen upon restart as described. I had to restart the service on my server in order to get it working again. I was going to see if 6.9 is any different, but I will have to do it during a down period.
