HD100, remote, lockup problems

Hey guys,
I am having a couple problems since getting the HD100.

First - I have a URC MX-900 and have it all programmed to work with the extender. For the most part it works good except for one problem the Select button. This is hard to explain. When I switch from one screen to another (eg...from the Home screen to the guide) I can't immediately select what is highlighted. I first have to press up or down then go back to what I want to select it. I hope this makes sense and I hope someone could help me there. Also on this subject the response time is terrible. Probably 3 seconds before the highlighting moves.

Second - If I leave the extender on for long periods it locks up so that a I have to switch the on/off switch on the back to reboot it. This happens daily. Any thoughts on this?

Third - When I start watching any program, the aspect ratio always reverts back to 4:3 and I'd like it to default to full. Is there a setting for this?

EDIT: I read something about JVM Heap Size. Mine is (Used/Total): 185MB/199MB Could this be a problem?

I don't remember which remote the MX-900 is... how did you program it? If you just pointed the HD100 remote at it & learned the commands that way, it won't work too well. If you used a program from URC to directly program built-in the codes into the remote, it should work.

There is a sticky in the hardware forum with remote info & that has links to discussions of using other remotes with the HD100.

Use the v6.4.5 beta and the latest HD100 beta firmware -- see the beta forum & the sticky HD100 notification topic in this forum.

The v6.4.5 beta includes the ability to edit custom aspect ratios during playback on the HD100 and to choose one as the default AR. This is in the default STV.

If you have the memory available on your server, I would boost it for better performance.
