Lock-up issue

I admit I have not read the entire "Extender locks up" thread so if this is a repeat from there, just tell me so and I'll read it...

This isn't necessarily the first time this has happened, but I have noticed it lately being consistent... when I skip forward with the remote button Fwd1 (which I have set at 10 seconds), and hit it one or two too many times - in other words, I am up to "real time" and hit the button again - it consistently locks up the HD100, requiring manual ("hard") reboot. The remote buttons do not even cause a flicker of the activity light on the box, much less do anything.

I'm still on the last non-beta firmware, so I don't know if this was an issue that was fixed in a beta firmware release since (hopefully). Seems like it would be a fixable problem.

Just wondering if this is an issue that others have seen, or if it's been addressed already.....

Yup, the last non-beta firmware would lock up on me too, if I turned the HD100 soft-off every night, I was ok, it was just when it got left on all the time....

The most recent beta is supposed to be perfect as reported here on the forum, my beta is a couple weeks old, so I do need to update......

Meaning it would lock up on you when FF'ing when "up to real time" (per my post above), or it would just lock up on you, period (when left on all the time)?

Mine did have problems with locking up when I left it on all the time... but my wife and I both are in the habit of turning it ("soft") off when we turn off the TV, so I haven't tried leaving it on in a long time.

Hopefully the beta cures either/or of these issues.... anyone know?
